Edukasi Pengelolaan Sampah untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Kesehatan Lingkungan Remaja Kepulauan Sangihe

Siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Tahuna Barat masih sering membakar sampah plastik yang berisiko terhadap kesehatan lingkungan akibat keterbatasan fasilitas pemilahan sampah dan minimnya edukasi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan lingkungan siswa melalui edukasi pengelolaan sampah berbasis praktik. Kegiatan menggunakan desain pre-test dan post-test dengan intervensi multikomponen berupa penyuluhan, media audiovisual, diskusi, dan praktik daur ulang sampah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 19 September 2025 terhadap 53 siswa. Pengetahuan diukur menggunakan kuesioner 10 butir sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed-rank dan effect size. Hasil menunjukkan skor rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat signifikan dari 8,13 menjadi 8,75 (p < 0,001; r = 0,39). Peningkatan terbesar terjadi pada siswa dengan skor awal rendah sehingga kesenjangan pengetahuan menurun. Respon siswa terhadap pendekatan praktik dan audiovisual juga sangat positif. Pendekatan edukasi multikomponen berbasis praktik ini dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai model promotif kesehatan lingkungan yang aplikatif untuk mendukung pengelolaan sampah di sekolah wilayah pesisir dan kepulauan.
